This Ash Wednesday, our chaplains and volunteers began the Lenten season by offering ashes to patients, families, and hospital staff. Through this simple act, they shared a moment of prayer, reflection, and spiritual support, bringing the message of repentance and renewal directly to those unable to attend church.
We hope this marks the start of a meaningful season of reflection and preparation for Holy Week.
Every year, around the Feast of St. Luke in October, we celebrate the White Mass for doctors and nurses. This event honors their dedication and commitment to patient care. Following the Mass, we hold a Conference Dinner featuring a topic of interest for both doctors and nurses.
In October, we celebrate Pastoral Care Week at the hospitals. The Chaplains' Teams plan a variety of activities, including the Blessing of the Hands, Tea for the Soul, and other events designed to bring our Pastoral Care Office closer to everyone in our hospital community.
From May 6 to 12, we will celebrate all the nurses at the hospitals. It is a week to honor them and their commitment and dedication to patients and their families.
