The Catholic Youth Renovation Project (CYRP) is a parish-sponsored service and evangelization experience conducted in collaboration with the Diocese of Brownsville. Each summer, youth and adult leaders come together to serve families in need through home repair projects, while growing as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ.
CYRP is more than a week of service. It is an opportunity for young people to live their faith in action—working side by side with adult mentors, building friendships, learning practical skills, and encountering Christ in the families they serve.
The 2026 theme is The Sacred Heart of Jesus, inviting participants to form their hearts after the Heart of Christ—merciful, compassionate, and ready to serve. Through daily prayer, reflection, and teamwork, youth discover that service is not simply something we do, but a way of life rooted in love.
CYRP 2026 will take place June 7–12, 2026.
If you are a parish, school, parent, or young person interested in participating, we invite you to learn more and join us in this meaningful work of faith and service.
