Basilica of San Juan del Valle - National Shrine

Founded in 1954, the Basilica of San Juan del Valle-National Shrine, gained prominence after a replica of the Virgin of San Juan de los Lagos statue was placed in the church, attracting thousands of faithful. In 1970, the original church was rebuilt after a tragic plane crash. Its stunning architecture, tranquil grounds, mosaic mural, Stations of the Cross, and gift shop make it an ideal pilgrimage site. It was designated a basilica in 1999.
