1. Who can attend this event?
This event is open to high school youth, parish youth groups, and their adult chaperones.
2. Do adults need to attend with the youth?
Yes, all youth must be accompanied by parish-approved adult chaperones who meet diocesan Safe Environment/PGC requirements.
3. What is the cost of the event?
The fee is $10.00 per participant, which includes materials, snacks, and breakfast.
4. How do we register?
Registrations are done through parishes. Please coordinate with your parish youth minister or PCL. The deadline is September 2nd.
5. What should participants bring?
Blanket / yoga mat / towel (to sit on during the event)
Rosary
Comfortable clothing (the event is outdoors)
No shorts.
Jacket or sweater (it may get cool overnight)
6. Are meals provided?
Dinner will be provided. Snacks will be provided during the night, and a light breakfast is included before dismissal.
7. Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
The event will take place outdoors at the Bishop Marx Conference Center. In case of bad weather, some activities may move inside.
8. What are the supervision requirements?
The diocesan student-to-adult ratio (5 to 1) applies. Each parish is responsible for providing safe environment–cleared chaperones for their group. Chaperones must be over the age of 25.
9. Will there be security or medical staff on-site?
Yes, volunteers and diocesan staff will be present throughout the night to ensure safety. A first aid station will be available.
10. What time should we arrive?
Check-in begins at 7:30 p.m. The event starts promptly at 8:00 p.m.
11. Can participants leave early or arrive late?
For safety and the flow of the event, participants are expected to remain for the entire program (8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). Exceptions must be approved by the event organizers in advance.
12. What is the highlight of the night?
The highlight will be the live-streamed Mass from Rome at 3:00 a.m., along with Eucharistic Adoration and opportunities for prayer, fellowship, and witness.
13. Is this an overnight lock-in?
Yes, this is an overnight prayer vigil and fellowship event. While there is free/reflection time, it is not designed as a full “sleepover.”
14. Will there be confession available?
